Job details Client: ManufacturingDuration: 6 monthsTitle: Project SchedulerLocation: Jackson, MIPay Range: $40-$45/HR About the Role:We are seeking a dedicated Project Scheduler to organize, implement, and maintain a scheduling management system to support identified projects and their plans.The ideal candidate will assist in setting up tasks and sub-tasks to ensure the satisfactory realization of project contract requirements as scheduled.Responsibilities:Organize and maintain the scheduling management system for projects.Assist in setting up tasks and sub-tasks to meet project contract requirements.Log project timelines and maintain the P6 database of tasks and their status.Input new information into the P6 database and provide scheduled reports for contract coordination and reporting.Interact with project staff and stakeholders to schedule work and coordinate assignments.Design and develop project schedules.Collaborate with project teams and contractors to define the scope of work and update detailed schedules.Identify variances from the original plan and evaluate project schedule progress and performance.Develop and update weekly schedules in collaboration with superintendents, field engineers, and project managers.Support the project management team in maintaining effective change management processes.Assist in developing and maintaining periodic status reports to keep management informed on project progress.Conduct analysis to determine alternative courses of action or recovery on slipped schedules.Education:A minimum of a High School Education is required.Candidates with an Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or Master's Degree will be considered favorably.Skills:Proficiency in PRIMAVERA and Excel.Strong communication skills to interact effectively with project team members and stakeholders.PDN-9f13c599-3019-40fb-8ce4-ae32faf6960d
