Industrial Electrician As an Industrial Electrician, you will troubleshoot and diagnose problems, perform repairs, and conduct routine preventive maintenance on equipment. You will maintain and update all process documentation and support equipment modifications for process changes, new models, and expansion needs. Strict adherence to safety procedures, including OSHA standards, is required. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair various mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment systems, isolating malfunctioning parts. Install, program, calibrate, and monitor Variable Frequency Drives, instruments, and systems. Monitor PLC processor operations and act as directed or instructed. Support equipment and operations necessary for safety and environmental regulations. Ensure equipment is in a safe working condition, utilizing the Lock-Out Tag-Out program. Essential Skills Experience as an electrician, particularly within industrial settings. Proficiency in troubleshooting machinery and electrical systems. Ability to read and interpret wiring blueprints. Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics. Skills in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems. PLC troubleshooting capabilities. Additional Skills & Qualifications Use of test equipment such as millimeters, meggers, oscilloscopes, and high voltage proximity testers. Understanding of grounding and shielding requirements. Knowledge of crane drives and controls. Familiarity with equipment lockout and tagout requirements. Knowledge of the Electrical Code NEC and NFPA. Experience with high voltage switchgear and transformers. Knowledge of AC and DC motor controls. Ability to troubleshoot all phases of electrical circuitry. Proficiency with PLC logic and programs.
