Maintenance Engineer Job Description We are seeking a candidate with strong electronic troubleshooting abilities down to the component level and hands-on experience with PLC programming and diagnostics. This role also requires working knowledge of mechanical systems to support a wide variety of industrial equipment. Responsibilities Troubleshoot complex electrical and electronic systems, including sensors, relays, power supplies, HMIs, VFDs, and motor controls. Program, modify, and troubleshoot PLCs (primarily Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Keyence or other relevant platforms). Read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, function block and technical documentation. Perform root cause analysis on electrical failures and implement corrective actions. Support and install industrial automation systems, including conveyors, saws, press systems, and other manufacturing equipment. Diagnose mechanical issues related to gearboxes, bearings, chain drives, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems. Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment. Essential Skills Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and programming with platforms such as Allen-Bradley and Siemens. Experience in electrical maintenance. Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation. Familiarity with VFDs, motor controls, and industrial automation. Ability to troubleshoot down to the component level (resistors, transistors, fuses, etc.). Working knowledge of mechanical systems and repair practices. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (technical school or trade certification preferred). 7+ years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. 3+ years of experience in PLC troubleshooting and programming. Strong reading skills for schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Why Work Here?
