Summary
The Project Manager is accountable for full-cycle engineered-to-order product delivery. Reporting to the Lead Project Manager, the Project Manager interacts with internal and external customers to ensure that deliverable products and services meet or exceed the specifications based upon delivery, aesthetic, and other applicable metrics. Additional scope may include leading a project team and ensuring quality tolerances are held within specification throughout the lifecycle of the project.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.
Manage project development from initiation to closure and be accountable for project results
Work with all stakeholders (manufacturing, accounting, quality, engineering, external reps, account executives, etc.) to communication expectations and act as a mediator between and among internal/external stakeholders
Resolve any issues and problems throughout the lifecycle of aluminum and/or steel projects.
Track and report on project milestones and provide status reports/updates to applicable parties
Develop tools and best practices within the PM area of execution
Ensure all project documents and files are properly routed throughout and upon project completion
Interface with customer via phones, e-mail, etc., to take new orders, issue quotes, and vet change orders, all in preparation of issuing the job to manufacturing.
Liaise with Accounting, Sales, & IT to ensure accuracy of records, documentation, terms, retainage, and/or milestone billings, to manage customer communications relative to schedule and progress of projects.
Any additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
Project Management (5-10 years) is preferred.
Degree in project management, construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
Structural or architectural blueprints, and production print reading knowledge preferred.
ERP operating system-based working knowledge is desired - EPICOR system knowledge preferred.
Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Ability to develop and manage long range and short-term project development and customer plans.
Ability to generate consensus and influence others to achieve a specified, desired result.
Familiarization with automated records systems is helpful.
Excellent communication, leadership, problem solving, and analytical skills.
Ability to elicit cooperation from executives, managers, peers, and other departments.
Physical Demands
The physical requirements outlined below are essential for successful job performance. While fulfilling job duties, employees frequently need to be on-site to manage projects. Additionally, employees must regularly engage in activities such as sitting, standing, walking, speaking, and listening. Occasionally, employees may need to bend, stoop, balance, and move within the facility. Specific vision abilities necessary for this role include close vision, distant vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Furthermore, employees may occasionally lift and/or move objects weighing up to thirty pounds.
