General Production Worker (3rd Shift) Job Description This role involves mixing and distributing gel to Vertical Form Fill machines while monitoring raw material levels to ensure continuous operation. You will also be responsible for equipment monitoring and making necessary adjustments for optimal performance. Training will be provided to operate equipment to meet daily production requirements and company efficiency goals. Quality checks and record maintenance are integral to verify products meet customer and company standards. Additionally, you will assist in packing products and loading freezers or trucks as needed. Responsibilities Mix and distribute gel to Vertical Form Fill machines. Monitor raw material levels to ensure machines run continuously. Adjust equipment as necessary for proper operation. Perform quality checks and maintain accurate records. Assist in packing products and loading freezers or trucks. Essential Skills 1-2 years of packaging experience preferred. Experience in production or manufacturing. Machine operation skills. Forklift experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with fill line or packaging equipment preferred. Previous machine operating experience, particularly in the packaging industry, is a plus. Potential training to operate and set up a V blender machine. Ability to maintain housekeeping standards and cleanliness of machines and production area. Competency in completing work order paperwork. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role is based in a clean packaging environment located in Pottstown, with work hours from 11 PM to 7:30 AM, Sunday through Thursday. The team consists of one mixer, one floater, and thirteen operators. Regular breaks and lunch times are scheduled to ensure a balanced work shift.
