Job Description

Overview: One of that nations-top Architecture/Engineering firms who specializes in large and highly complex projects around the world, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer(HVAC & Plumbing) to join their rapidly-growing team. This role offers the opportunity to act as a leader in the Mechanical Engineering department, supervise staff's day to day responsibilities while acting as the technical leader on all projects.

Responsibilities

Design mechanical systems including heating, cooling, heat rejection, air distribution, ventilation, air conditioning, building automation and controls.

Coordinate and prepare schematic design, design development and construction documents

Deliver projects across multiple delivery models, including design/bid/build, design assist, design build

Manage multi-disciplinary teams on projects related to Government, Healthcare, Higher Education and Science & Technology

Maintain strong client relations as it pertains to project delivery and repeat business

Qualifications

Professional Degree in Engineering required from an accredited four-year university

P.E. License Required

Minimum of 5 years of experience as an engineer, designing HVAC systems

Experience and strong understanding of HVAC, Plumbing, Piping, Boiler, Chiller or Related Mechanical Building system

Experience with monitoring and managing project budgets

Project management and supervisor experience preferred
