TITLE: Thermoforming Operator C
POSITION OBJECTIVE: The Thermoforming Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining thermoforming machinery to produce high-quality plastic products. This position involves setting up, monitoring, and troubleshooting the thermoforming process to ensure efficient production and compliance with quality standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Willing to work a 2-2-3 schedule with planned day/night rotation
Willing to work 12-hour shifts
Willing and able to lift up to 50 pounds routinely
Experience as a Thermoforming Operator, Injection mold, blown film, PVC or similar role in a manufacturing environment a plus
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Basic computer skills for data entry and machine control interface operations
Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Machine Setup and Calibration:
Set up and calibrate thermoforming machinery according to product specifications and production requirements.
Adjust machine settings such as temperature, speed, and pressure to achieve optimal production conditions.
Perform routine operations required to set up, operate and adjust multiple Thermoforming lines.
Able to fill in during absence of B Technicians.
Quality Control:
Conduct regular quality checks on thermoformed products to ensure they meet established standards.
Ensure quality of product and conformance to extremely close tolerances by auditing various quality tests using a variety of electronic machines and visual inspections.
Troubleshooting:
Identify and resolve issues that may arise during the thermoforming process, such as equipment malfunctions or material inconsistencies.
Perform minor mechanical repairs and adjustments and report mechanical or electrical problems to the maintenance department.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate production records, including machine settings production rates, and quality control data.
Report any deviations from standard operating procedures and work with the appropriate personnel to address them.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with team members, including machine operators, quality control personnel, and maintenance staff, to optimize production efficiency.
Relieve team members during lunches and breaks and provide technical assistance to others as needed.
Continuous Improvement:
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes, reduce waste, and increase overall efficiency.
Provide input on potential process improvements based on practical experiences.
May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:
Inside and outside environments apply

Ability to work in varying temperatures (cold and hot)
Subject to noise.
