Position Title:Construction Building Foreman Type:Direct Hire Employment

Type:Full-Time Salary Range:Based on Experience Job Overview: The

Construction Building Foreman is responsible for overseeing and

coordinating daily operations on construction sites. This role ensures

projects are completed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with

plans, specifications, and quality standards. The ideal candidate has

hands-on construction experience, leadership skills, and a strong

understanding of building processes and site safety regulations. Key

Responsibilities: Site Supervision & Leadership: Oversee daily

construction activities; ensuring work is completed efficiently and

according to project timelines. Direct and coordinate crews,

subcontractors, and suppliers on-site. Communicate with the Project

Manager to relay progress, challenges, and resource needs. Enforce job

site safety, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and company

policies. Project Coordination & Execution: Interpret blueprints,

specifications, and construction documents to ensure accurate execution

of work. Monitor quality control, ensuring workmanship meets project

standards and client expectations. Coordinate materials, tools, and

equipment to maintain workflow and minimize delays. Identify and

troubleshoot construction issues, making necessary adjustments in

coordination with management. Labor & Crew Management: Assign tasks to

crew members based on skills and experience. Train and mentor workers,

promoting skill development and efficiency. Track employee attendance,

performance, and productivity. Safety & Compliance: Conduct regular

safety meetings and enforce proper use of personal protective equipment

(PPE). Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety protocols

and regulations. Address and report any safety concerns or violations

immediately. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate daily logs,

including work progress, delays, and safety incidents. Assist in

tracking labor hours, material usage, and equipment maintenance. Report

project updates to the Project Manager and provide input on schedule

adjustments. Qualifications and Skills: Experience: Minimum of 3 years

in construction, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory

role. Experience in commercial, residential or industrial building

projects preferred. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of

construction methods, materials, and building codes. Ability to read and

interpret blueprints, specifications, and job orders. Familiarity with

construction equipment and tools, including safe operation and

maintenance. Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership and team

management skills. Effective communication with crew members,

subcontractors, and project managers. Ability to resolve conflicts and

maintain a productive work environment. Physical Requirements: Ability

to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Capable of lifting up to

50 lbs and performing physical labor as needed. Comfortable working at

heights, operating machinery, and standing for extended periods.

Education & Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent required;

technical or trade school training preferred. OSHA 30 certification is

highly desirable. Valid driver\'s license and reliable transportation.
