HVAC Installer Job Description Join a dynamic team on a long-term project in Bellefonte, PA as a skilled HVAC Installer. With at least one year of experience on a commercial job site, you will utilize your expertise in hanging sheet metal and working with various HVAC materials, including galvanized steel, aluminum, fiberglass, and flexible ductwork. Responsibilities Install, fabricate, and hang sheet metal ductwork for commercial HVAC systems. Work with galvanized steel, aluminum, fiberglass, and flexible ducting to ensure proper airflow and system efficiency. Perform rough-in and finish HVAC installations, including air handlers and ventilation systems. Cut, shape, and assemble ductwork using plasma cutters, shears, and bending machines. Secure duct systems using rivets, screws, and welding techniques. Install insulation and ensure proper sealing to prevent air leaks. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Assist with pressure tests and system inspections to verify functionality and compliance with local codes. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to OSHA safety standards.
