The Installation Manager is responsible for ensuring the successful installation of all our Custom Spaces product lines while providing a seamless customer experience for our clients through the balance of efficiency, maintaining service levels and operational safety. Working closely with the Director of Installation and other Regional Managers, this position is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the on-site field installers including shift schedules and timekeeping, logistics, labor management, performance management, coordination with third-party installers, and vehicle and equipment oversight. This position will also collaborate with internal stakeholders across installation, design, sales, and manufacturing upholding The Container Stores culture and best practices and contributing to an exceptional customer experience. This is a full-time, salaried, on-site position located in Elmhurst, IL. This position reports to the Regional Installation Manager.

Responsibilities:- Supervise daily activities of in-house field installers and coordinate with third-party installation partners.
- Lead team performance management, coaching, and employee development.
- Manage timecards, time-off requests, and workforce scheduling to meet operational needs.
- Develop and implement structured training programs to uphold installation quality standards.
- Foster a professional, accountable, and safety-first team culture.
- Manages corrective/disciplinary action while collaborating with Director of Installation and Human Resources on the appropriate conversations, actions, follow-up and documentation
- Coordinate materials, tools, and transportation, for efficient installations.
- Conduct site visits to ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and within scope.
- Address and resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently to ensure satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with TCS company policies and procedures and uphold confidentiality regarding sensitive company and customer information.

- Identify areas for continuous improvement in installation operations and field practices.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation including installer documentation and checklists, project timelines and vehicle service records.
- Coordinates with HR and Risk to make sure all drivers licenses remain valid.
- Works with employee, HR and Risk to complete any documentation necessary for any vehicle accidents.
- High school diploma or GED required, college degree in construction management, operations, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in field installation or construction management experience, preferably in closets, cabinetry, or home improvement.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a professional manner, both orally and in writing, at all levels within and outside the organization
- Ability to up to climb a ladder, stoop, kneel and lift up to 40 lbs as needed
- High level of adaptability, able to pivot quickly to meet changing business and client needs, including adjusting work schedule.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Salesforce CRM.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and measurements.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites.
