Commercial Apprentice Plumber

PLUMBER JOB DESCRIPTION:

Plumbers will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and repairing plumbing pipes and systems to ensure all building fixtures are operating correctly on commercial buildings.

PLUMBER JOB DUTIES:

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures in commercial buildings
• Inspect plumbing systems and pipes
• Review Blueprints and schematics- Journeyman level plumbers should be efficient
• Follow local and state plumbing codes

• Measuring, cutting, and assembling pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixtures using mechanical solder, brazing and pipe joining methods.
• Using hand, measuring and power tools common to the plumbing trade
• Ensure installed pipes and systems pass inspections

PLUMBER QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have recent experience in commercial new construction plumbing and/or renovations.
• Must have a current state-issued journeyman or apprentice plumbing license.
• Must have proper identification for employment.
• Must have hand tools required for plumbing.
