- Lead the planning of electrical systems for healthcare and emergency service facilities.
- Offer strategic input on data center-style infrastructure.
- Ensure high-quality design and technical standards are met.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, clearly explaining technical concepts.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Represent the companys values and expertise in meetings and presentations.
- Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring timelines and goals are met.
- Work with cross-functional teams to keep projects on track.
- Delegate Revit/AutoCAD tasks as needed.
- Support projects in Atlanta and across the Southeast, with travel about 1015% of the time for meetings, site visits, and coordination.
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or a similar field.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- At least 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a strong focus on healthcare infrastructure.
- Solid background in master planning, especially for emergency services and healthcare power systems.
- Strong communication skills for breaking down complex technical ideas.
- Experience managing other engineers.
- Previous project experience in healthcare/life sciences/data center work.
- Understanding of drawings/design within Revit and ability to delegate to other engineers.
- Familiarity with electrical systems for data centers.
- Comfortable leading conversations with clients and helping guide decisions.
- Open to relocating to Atlanta if needed, with relocation assistance available.
This is a hybrid role based in the Atlanta area, with flexibility to work remotely. The office in Atlanta, GA has 10 employees who occasionally go in on Mondays and Thursdays.
