Industrial Demolition Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Demolition Project Manager/Superintendent with experience in decommissioning, demolition, construction, and environmental remediation. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing field project teams, client management, scheduling, monitoring safety standards, and demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise large crews of 20 or more for substantial industrial projects.
• Manage environmental demolition and remediation tasks effectively.
• Oversee large scope projects, ensuring they meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Engage and interact with clients using strong verbal communication skills.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations on-site.

• 5-10 years of supervisory experience in managing large crews for industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of environmental demolition and remediation work.
• Prior experience in supervising abatement.
• Proficiency in report writing and team management.
• Ability to travel and reside within the Charlotte, NC area.
• Completion of 30-hour OSHA training.
• Completion of 40-hour HAZWOPER training.

• Asbestos abatement experience and certification.

The work environment will primarily be on construction sites. Employees will receive 2 weeks of PTO and enjoy 6 major holidays. A company truck will be provided if needed, and accommodations in a long-term hotel suite will be arranged for non-local hires.

The pay range for this position is $32.69 - $46.15/hr.
