Under the guidance of the Division Manager, the Plumbing Project Manager is responsible for estimating, designing, and managing plumbing system installations. This role includes providing technical support to field teams, resolving installation issues, and securing new projects in alignment with the companys sales and profitability goals.
Qualifications- Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant construction experience.
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid drivers license with a satisfactory driving record. A Master Plumber or DE license is a plus.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout various work environments, including industrial and construction sites with heavy equipment.
- Leadership:
- Ability to mentor others and represent the company professionally in all situations.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficient in plumbing system design, building codes, safety standards, and design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam preferred).
- Analytical & Problem-Solving:
- Strong judgment, accountability, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Communication:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and team collaboration.

- Design & Engineering:
- Design plumbing systems and review project documentation. Act as a technical liaison between the company and external engineering teams.
- Sales & Business Development:
- Promote and sell design-build plumbing systems. Meet or exceed annual sales targets. Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Customer Engagement:
- Educate clients on company capabilities and maintain ongoing communication to ensure satisfaction.
- Estimating & Contracting:
- Prepare accurate estimates and proposals. Negotiate and review contracts to ensure alignment with company policies and risk management standards.
- Project Turnover & Execution:
- Prepare project documentation for handoff to field teams. Coordinate with internal departments to manage drawings, labor, schedules, and procurement.
- Team Support:
- Provide guidance to sales, project management, estimating, and field teams on workflow and issue resolution.
- Staff Development:
- Assist in hiring, onboarding, and training new team members as directed by the Division Manager.
- Process Improvement:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices and process enhancements.
