Our work includes metal and glass doors, hood fan and fireplace shrouds, mirror frames, railings and other custom metal elements that elevate both commercial and residential interiors.
Were currently seeking a part-time drafter with a passion for detailed shop drawings and a sharp eye for precision in architectural metal design.
Responsibilities:
Read and understand architectural drawings and specifications
Provide detailed drawings with accurate and clearly labelled measurements, materials, and finish specifications with computer-aided software
Work closely with lead fabricators to ensure drawings are production-ready and aligned with shop capabilities
Identify operational issues and redesign products to improve functionality or aesthetic
Qualifications:
Proficient in AutoCAD (or equivalent drafting software), preferably with a metal fabrication background
Diploma in a related program is an asset
Experience creating shop drawings for metal fabrication or architectural detailing
Strong understanding of fabrication methods and architectural standards
A strong pulse on current interior design and architectural trends to help ensure our work remains visually relevant and forward-thinking
Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret architectural/design intent
Strong organizational and communication skills
Familiarity with interior design, construction, or millwork drawings is a plus
Able to manage time effectively and prioritize responsibilities
Role Details:
Part-Time (Flexible Hours) Estimated 1020 hours/week, with potential to grow
Remote work possible; occasional site visits or in-person meetings may be requested depending on location
Compensation based on experience and skillset
