Assistant Project Manager / Project Engineer (Full time and part-time)

Construction Management firm based in Benicia is looking to add to our project management team as we expand. The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for supporting the company in various aspects such as: Assisting project Management team with the successful completion of multiple projects from the investigative phase through final completion. This position is based in Benicia and requires travel to project sites throughout the bay area. This position is primarily full time, but part time candidates will be considered.

Responsibilities
-Assisting Sr. Construction Manager with project oversight, project documentation and communications
-Assist with project site visits with project team members
-Provide administrative support to project management team
-Meeting notes/minutes production
-Travel to jobsites as needed throughout the bay area
-Assist with project inspections, field reports, project weekly updates
-Review project plans and ensure contractor compliance
-Document punch list work
-Complete other responsibilities as assigned

Skill Requirements:
-Engineering / Architecture / Construction management degree
-Valid California Drivers License.
-Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Microsoft Project.
-Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both written and verbal.
- Use / climb ladders
-Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines
-Timeliness, accuracy, and clarity in producing required reports.
