Metal Building/ Carport Welder

JOB DISCRIPTION:

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction-related tasks and possess a strong understanding of the metal building process. which includes reading erection plans, welding, using a square and tape measurer. using a grinder to cut purlins and tubing. screwing down sheets and any experience with trim is a plus

Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and install metal buildings and carports.
- Pop lines and square up for columns

- Use cutting torch to cut beams and prepare weld plates
- Work on various tasks such as cutting and welding of purlin/tubing
- Ensure all sheeting process of roofs and walls is done properly
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a welder with construction experience or a similar role
-Someone with integrity and honesty, who can talk to customers the right way
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Physical strength and stamina to handle the demands of the job
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 40 per week

Shift:
Mon- Friday Day Shift

Experience:

-Construction: 1 year (Required)
-welding: 1 year (Required)
-Metal building erection: 1 year (Preferred)
