HVAC Technician

Wellman Services is currently hiring HVAC Technicians.

**Pay:** Dependent on experience.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities:**

- Inspect clients current HVAC systems for effectiveness and safety

- Installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment

- Diagnosing HVAC systems with electrical and mechanical defects.

- Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services

- Maintain a detailed inventory of all HVAC equipment and resources

- Participate in all technical training

- Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act

- Complying with service standards, work instructions, and customers' requirements

- Ability to work after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays with short or no notice.

- Ability to work in confined space

**Qualifications:**

- Strong understanding of HVAC systems

- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations

- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC challenges accordingly

- Communication and intrapersonal skills, including customer service

- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

- Familiarity with the intricacies of ductwork, furnaces, condensers

- Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously

- Proficiency in basic mathematics and measurement conversion

**Requirements:**

- 5 years of experience or more is preferred in both residential and commercial HVAC

- Capable of completing assignments with little supervision

- Valid Driver's License
