**Job Description:**
We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented **Asphalt Estimator** to join our team. The ideal candidate has **experience estimating asphalt paving projects**---including commercial, residential, and municipal work---and is confident in managing bid processes from start to finish.
**Responsibilities:**
- Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for asphalt paving projects
- Interpret plans, specifications, and project documents
- Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate scope and requirements
- Work with project managers and crews to determine labor, equipment, and material costs
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors
- Track bid results and follow up on awarded jobs
- Ensure all proposals are submitted accurately and on time
- Maintain organized documentation of bids and project history
**Requirements:**
- 2+ years of experience estimating asphalt paving or civil construction projects
- Strong understanding of paving processes, materials, and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and site plans
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as needed
