Maintenance Mechanic**
**Job Description**
As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing standard work safely by adhering to all safety rules and procedures. You will inspect and repair plant equipment, including mechanical, welding, carpentry, electrical, instrumentation, and controls to minimize downtime. Additionally, you will document maintenance activities accurately, clean and maintain assigned areas and tools, and participate in continuous improvement processes.
**Responsibilities**
+ Inspect and repair plant equipment to minimize downtime.
+ Document accurate maintenance activity records.
+ Clean and maintain assigned areas and tools.
+ Participate in the continuous improvement process.
+ Report incidents, near misses, and non-conformances.
+ Exemplify expected organizational values by following policies and standard work procedures.
+ Give input on and coordinate maintenance supply purchases.
+ Perform Preventative Maintenance Program to ensure completion and accuracy.
+ Cross-train on other production functions as needed.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in 480-volt 3 phase electricity required.
+ Capable of installing, programming, and troubleshooting PLC; AC/DC drive motors preferred.
+ Ability to troubleshoot electric, air systems, and hydraulic systems.
+ Knowledge of lockout/tagout, arc flash requirements, confined space entry, and hot work permit.
+ Ability to work overtime and meet deadlines.
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond urgently to down equipment.
+ Effective team player, self-motivated, quick learner.
+ Good communication skills with fluency in English.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Preferred experience in AB.
+ Mechanical, repair, hand tool proficiency.
+ Experience with hand and power tools.
+ Facilities maintenance and preventive maintenance experience.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
