**Walsh Federal LLC** is currently seeking a **Roofer** for the **B-21 LORF Hangar** , in **Ellsworth Airforce Base in Box Elder, South Dakota** .
The Roofer is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of roofing systems, including asphalt shingles, tiles, metal, rubber, and other roofing materials. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, knowledge of roofing techniques, and a commitment to safety and quality.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Install new roofing systems on residential, commercial, or industrial buildings.
+ Remove old roofing materials and prepare the surface for new installations.
+ Repair damaged roofs by replacing shingles, flashing, underlayment, or structural components.
+ Apply waterproof and weatherproof materials to ensure roof integrity.
+ Work with various roofing materials including asphalt, tile, slate, metal, and TPO/EPDM membranes.
+ Use hand tools, power tools, and roofing equipment safely and effectively.
+ Follow blueprints, specifications, and safety guidelines.
+ Inspect completed work to ensure proper installation and adherence to building codes.
+ Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
+ Communicate with team members, supervisors, and clients as needed.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
+ 13 years of roofing or general construction experience required; apprenticeship or trade school training is a plus.
+ Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
+ Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly.
+ Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn.
+ Requires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods.
+ Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening

**RESPONSABILIDADES**

+ Utilice herramientas manuales, herramientas electricas y equipos para techado de forma segura y eficaz.
+ Siga los planos, especificaciones y pautas de seguridad.
+ Inspeccionar el trabajo terminado para garantizar la instalacion adecuada y el cumplimiento de los codigos de construccion.

**CALIFICACIONES**
+ Se requieren de 1 a 3 anos de experiencia en techado o construccion general; formacion en aprendizaje o escuela vocacional es una ventaja.
+ Debe poder levantar hasta 50 libras; puede ser requerido para trabajar en varias condiciones climaticas
+ Requiere la capacidad de cumplir con todas las politicas y procedimientos de seguridad; comunicarse efectivamente con companeros de trabajo y supervisores para asegurar que los proyectos se completen adecuadamente
+ Poseer una fuerte etica de trabajo y ganas de aprender
