Job Summary
Job Summary
Open and Promotional - Dual Certification Under administrative direction, to assist the Director of Maintenance, Operations, Facilities and Transportation in the operation of the maintenance and operations activities; to supervise and manage the school district's maintenance program; to give direction, coordinate work, and cross-train workers in the school district's operations program; to perform skilled work in all building trades, and to do related duties as required. This is a management position.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education/Experience: Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school supplemented by coursework or training in basic repair, maintenance, and/or construction. Three years of progressively more responsible paid experience equivalent to journey level in basic repair, maintenance and/or construction and one year of supervisory experience, including the selection and evaluation of personnel. Licenses/Other: Obtain and maintain, within three years. of employment, certification from an adult, trade, or community college school verifying the completion of course work in Fundamentals of Grounds Care, Fundamentals of Maintenance (carpentry, plumbing, and electricity), Boiler Safety, Maintenance and Repair, and Supervision I and II.
