LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WITH:
A valid drivers license and a good driving record
A federal medical card/ability to obtain one
A Commercial Driver's License is a plus (and a bump up in starting pay). The ability to lodge overnight away from home as necessary Monday thru Thursday. A desire to work diligently and safely, and become part of a great company of people
OUR COMPANY:
We are an established, family-owned and operated, municipal road surfacing contractor that has been in business over 50 years. Our work locations include projects throughout Wisconsin and the upper mid-west. Travel and scenery changes ensure variety to each day. We offer a steady and abundant workload of hours - including overtime and federal wage rate pay with experienced crew members.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Not from the DeForest area? No problem! Your week can start at our DeForest office or a pre-determined location. From there, you will be in a company vehicle for the week and staying in a hotel from Monday through Thursday night with your crew. Home on Friday afternoon and no weekend work. No experience is necessary, we will train you. We offer hands on training from highly skilled employees who have been with us for many years. In addition to driving to each job location, you will assist the truck drivers and operator in setting up each road we pave, including luting the finished product, measuring and overall quality control to ensure the finished product exceeds expectations.
COMPENSATION:
Excellent pay. Starting wages at $16/hour and up. We have additional earning opportunities on federally funded projects that are in excess of $40/hour. Weekly overtime of 10+ hours is typical.
IMMEDIATE BENEFITS:
Include health insurance, paid holidays and vacation, and a company matching retirement plan. Company arranges and pays lodging expenses and meal subsistence when lodging away from home.
