Facilities Services is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter I to join our team. This role involves preparing, repairing, and painting a variety of interior and exterior surfaces, including walls, ceilings, and other structural components. Under general supervision, the Painter I ensures high-quality workmanship while maintaining the appearance and durability of facility structures.

This role involves preparing, repairing, and painting a variety of interior and exterior surfaces, including walls, ceilings, and other structural components. Under general supervision, the Painter I ensures high-quality workmanship while maintaining the appearance and durability of facility structures.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, and cleaning.

Repair drywall and plaster as needed.

Paint walls, buildings, ceilings, and other structural components across campus.

Ensure the work area is cleaned and restored to its original condition after completing tasks.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma or GED

Experience:

Three years of experience or completion of trade school

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Must be able to pass and test for, and wear, a respirator.

Other Conditions: Valid Driver's License
