Sr Mechanical Engineer needed for a leading Engineering and Construction firm in Richland WA. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will lead mechanical design project teams in Richland, WA to create world-class designs for new projects, alterations and redevelopments on a variety of equipment and infrastructure projects that will primarily support nuclear and DOE facilities. Ideal candidates will have a relevant degree and at least 7 years of experience. location: Richland, Washington job type: Contract salary: $60 - 90 per hour work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Lead the mechanical design of projects from the conceptual design phase through completion of construction for project managers' needs and requirements.Prepare mechanical equipment: packaged equipment specifications and data sheets, Request for Qualifications (RFQ's), technical bid summaries, and purchase recommendations.Review mechanical equipment vendor drawings, data interface with suppliers, clients, other engineering disciplines, detailers, and designers.Participate in project schedule development, scope, budget staffing planning and construction planning.
