DEPCOM Power Inc. is looking for a highly detail-oriented, accountability driven Contract Manager to support the Director of Supply Chain Contracts in full lifecycle oversight and management of vendor contracts supporting our renewable energy EPC projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent ability to pivot focus and balance efforts to meet different priorities in a fast-paced environment, high-responsiveness to team-member and stakeholder needs, and an in-depth working knowledge of full lifecycle contract management best practices.

This role is based out of the headquarters in Scottsdale, AZ. Hybrid or Remote (greater US) candidates with previous contract management experience may be considered. Remote positions will require occasional (>10%) travel to AZ HQ. This role is not eligible for VISA Sponsorship.

The Supply Chain Contracts Dept. plays a critical role in DEPCOM's success through in ensuring both DEPCOM and its vendors meet their contractual obligations by supporting effective management and administration of pre-execution and post-contractual deliverables and obligations. What You Will Do

General Contract Management Activities:

  • Identification of deviations, gaps, and risks in compliance requirements requiring alignment with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Provide risk mitigation and coordination with delivery teams and other stakeholders to ensure timely execution and completion of contractual obligations.
  • Lead contractual document drafting, interpretation, and comparative analysis efforts
  • Redlining and negotiation to include proposed stances and alternative approaches
  • Identification and implementation of commercial levers, risks, and dependencies for improved profitability
  • Prepare regular reports and briefs on contractual actions and statuses
  • Document management, version control, contract normalization, and proper archival and retention of relevant documents

Contract Lifecycle Management Activities:

  • Close engagement, collaboration, and SME contributions with internal stakeholders (e.g., other Supply Chain departments, project delivery, BD, legal) value-add contribution to pre-execution activities and post-contractual compliance and obligations management.
  • Contract obligation management (e.g., notice, change order, and amendment analysis, clause mapping, and drafting.
  • Prime Contract clause review and risk identification support from supply chain perspective, to include dependency impact analysis (e.g. flow downs)
  • Lead knowledge-sharing sessions on vendor obligations for Project Delivery insight
  • Prepare and deliver lessons-learned contract close out sessions and reports

Process Improvement:

  • Actively contribute to improvement identification to close gaps, enhance efficiency and effectiveness in managing contracts and post-contractual deliverables between departments.
  • Actively contribute and/or lead department initiatives for processes and resource development supporting contract management best practices.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience leading across team coordinating.
  • Demonstrated proactive & partnership-oriented approaches to elevate cross-function collaboration and results.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify challenges, implement effective solutions, develop strategic plans that align with organizational goals, and adapt based on feedback to improve performance and outcomes.
  • In-depth experience with multi-volume, high value and/or complex contracts and legalese interpretation
  • Expansive knowledge of industry standards and contract management best practice implementation
  • Experience with presentation creation and delivery for variety of stakeholders
  • Strong technical acumen

What Will Put You Ahead

  • 7-10 years of experience in a contract management role.
  • EPC or renewable energy industry supply chain experience
  • Previous experience in both customer-facing and vendor-facing roles
  • Bachelor's Degree or Industry-recognized Certification in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Contract Management, Procurement, or a related field
  • Program and/or Proposal management experience
  • Experience with AI and CLM/PM platforms

For this role, we anticipate paying $125k- $140k per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
