Key Responsibilities: Develop detailed cost estimates for shipbuilding projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services. Analyze technical specifications, drawings, and contract requirements. Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to ensure alignment on scope and pricing. Prepare bid packages and support proposal development for government and commercial clients. Identify cost-saving opportunities and risk factors. Maintain and update historical cost databases and estimation tools. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Naval Architecture, Construction Management, or related field is preferred but not required. Minimum of 7 years of experience in estimating within the shipbuilding or heavy industrial sector. Strong knowledge of ship construction methods, materials, and labor productivity.
