Senior Project Manager - Commercial & Institutional Builds Location: Omaha, NE Salary: $140,000-$160,000 + full benefits package Type: Full-time | In-person A long-standing and respected general contractor with 50+ years of success delivering high-quality construction projects across the Midwest is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team. With a strong portfolio spanning commercial, industrial, education, hospitality, and historic builds, this company is known for its collaborative culture and commitment to building excellence through teamwork. The Role As Project Manager, you'll lead key projects from pre-construction through closeout - overseeing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and communication with all stakeholders. You'll play a hands-on role in ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction across the board. Responsibilities include: Managing all phases of commercial construction projects Collaborating on project scope, objectives, and timelines Overseeing budgets, schedules, procurement, and contract negotiations Leading coordination between architects, engineers, subs, and vendors Conducting site inspections and managing risk and compliance Mentoring junior team members and driving continuous improvement What You'll Bring 10+ years of experience managing commercial/institutional construction projects Strong working knowledge of construction methods, safety standards, and codes Proficiency with MS Office, Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project OSHA 10-hour certification required (30-hour preferred) Exceptional communication, leadership, and organisational skills Ability to build rapport with field staff, clients, and project stakeholders Perks & Benefits Competitive salary ($140-160K DOE) Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off & holidays Flexible work hours and supportive environment Professional development support
