Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanic

Job Description:

Perform sheet metal repairs and modifications on aircraft structures

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical manuals

Fabricate and install sheet metal parts using hand tools and power tools

Conduct inspections to identify and troubleshoot structural issues

Weld and rivet sheet metal components as needed

Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects

Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Job Requirements:

Minimum of 6 years of experience as an Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanic

Knowledge of airframe structures and aircraft maintenance procedures

Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical manuals

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records

Must be a US citizen

Tools required

DOT drug test and 10 year background check

Per diem available to those that qualify
