Nouria Energy is a fast paced, fast growing retail and wholesale petroleum company operating 155 locations from Maine into Connecticut with a corporate office located in Worcester, MA. We are seeking a motivated HVAC/R technician who can work autonomously and ensure c-stores stores throughout the company network stay maintained by completing work orders administered by the HVAC/R Manager. If you have a superior electrical / HVAC/ refrigeration and plumbing skill set and enjoy a fast-paced and challenging environment, then come grow with us.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Candidates must be able to independently carry out the duties and responsibilities listed below at a satisfactory level.
o Manage, prioritize, and complete multiple service calls.
Calls are dispatched by the Nouria HVAC/R Manager who will assist with call
prioritization and ordering of related supplies
o Ability to use HVAC tools and multimeters proficiently; must provide own tools - Nouria will purchase additional tools/ (specialty) items as needed
o Perform general maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and other related work in a safe and efficient manner
o Always maintain a high level of professionalism
o Ability to train and work with others
o Possess a valid driver's license with good driving record; A company work van will be provided
o Ability to work with/ on ladders
o Ability to work 40 hours a week
o Ability to lift 40lbs+
o Perform other duties as required and/ or assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
o High School diploma required
o Trade School certificate required
o EPA universal certification required
o R.T License preferred - willing to train and send to school
o 3-7 years of work experience required
JOB RELATED SKILLS
o Time management skills with ability to manage several tasks simultaneously
o Strong verbal and written communication skills
o Ability to use email and internet dispatching applications currently utilized by Nouria Energy
