Key Responsibilities:
Schedule Development & Maintenance: Create and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, coordinating with project managers and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives.
Progress Monitoring & Reporting: Track project progress, report deviations, and produce performance reports, including Earned Value Management (EVM) and critical path analysis.
Resource & Cost Management: Manage resource allocation, track project costs, and resolve resource conflicts.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate scheduling conflicts and risks, developing recovery plans as needed.
Collaboration & Communication: Serve as a liaison between project teams and stakeholders, facilitating meetings and preparing reports.
Documentation & Compliance: Ensure proper documentation of schedule changes and compliance with client and industry standards.
Project Support: Collaborate with various teams to ensure realistic, resource-loaded schedules, and align schedules with contract milestones.
Technical Review: Provide technical reviews and recommendations for maintenance practices and project milestones.
Field Verification: Engage with on-site personnel to verify progress and support accurate reporting.

Skills and Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in a new construction shipyard environment (5+ years preferred).
Strong knowledge of ship construction methods, including modular construction and systems integration.
Proficiency in Primavera P6.
Experience with EVMS, resource loading, and cost coding.
Familiarity with ABS, NVR, and other regulatory milestones.
Ability to walk the ship and verify physical progress.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with government shipbuilding contracts (USACE, USCG, NAVSEA, etc.).
Familiarity with shipboard systems such as propulsion, electrical, HVAC, and C5ISR.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline (or equivalent shipyard experience).
Certifications such as PSP, EVMP, or PMP.
Other Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving scheduling risks.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities.
Collaborative and assertive in coordinating with diverse teams.
Red Flags for this Role:
No prior experience with Primavera P6 or Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling.
Limited to office-only scheduling experience without hands-on shipyard exposure.
Inability to engage with on-site personnel and verify progress.
