Job Title: Sign Installer / Fabricator

Job Description:

We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Sign Installer to join our team. This position involves working closely with our sign painter and fabrication crew to build and install a variety of custom signage. The ideal candidate will have experience with spray painting , LED wiring , aluminum welding , and sign installation , including channel letter fabrication .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the installation of signs made from wood, plastic, aluminum, and metal.

  • Collaborate with the sign painter to prep and finish signs using spray paint.

  • Fabricate channel letters , including LED layout and wiring.

  • Perform aluminum welding and basic fabrication tasks.

  • Operate saws, drills, and other tools to cut and assemble sign components.

  • Follow drawings, blueprints, and installation specs.

  • Load, transport, and install signs at customer locations, sometimes at heights.

  • Ensure safety protocols are followed on all job sites.

  • Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in sign installation or metal fabrication preferred.

  • Basic knowledge of LED systems , low-voltage wiring , and power tools .

  • Proficient in aluminum MIG welding .

  • Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and outdoors in various weather conditions.

  • Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

  • CDL or ability to operate lifts/cranes is a plus.

Work Environment:

  • Mix of indoor shop work and on-site installations.

  • Moderate to heavy lifting required.

  • Fast-paced, creative team environment.
