Description
Mid-Level Structural Engineer will be responsible for designing both new and existing parking structures. The role involves performing detailed calculations and ensuring the structural integrity of projects.
- Technical design, detailing, calculations and specification of structural repairs and new structural design on restoration projects
- Will develop structural design calculations, structural analysis/research, specifications and structural drawings
- Apply ACI, AISC and IBC building codes, PCI & PTI Design Guidelines to the design of foundations, superstructures, and related building components
- May assist with site visits with reviewing testing/inspection/field reports

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in structural engineering, specifically in designing parking structures.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software and CAD tools; software: Revit, STAAD, ARISA and spreadsheets
- Must have EIT and on track towards PE; SE is a plus
- Experience working on parking structures is preferred; Commercial, healthcare, industrial, utilities is transferrable
- Knowledge of ACI, AISC and IBC building codes, PCI & PTI Design Guidelines
- Experience/knowledge of the structural design of concrete including precast, conventional and post-tensioned cast-in-place, structural steel and masonry
- Experience with wind/seismic analysis, spread footing and deep and shallow retention walls.

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
