Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Fabricator Duties and responsibilities:

Team members will work with sheets of aluminum to create and fabricate large interstate signs. Each sign is fabricated in individual panels and joined together mechanically using aluminum extrusions.

Part of a daily routine would include:

• Cutting aluminum sheets and extrusions down to size to create signs
• Drilling sign panels and aluminum extrusions
• Applying reflective films and graphics
• Reviewing detailed shop drawings
• Assembling and building large signs
• IMPORTANT NOTE: This is NOT a welding position. We do not currently weld, however many of the skill sets used for welding or in fabrication shops would apply *

Qualifications:

• Applicants must have experience with basic tools including miter /chop saw, reading tape measures, drill press and hand drills.
• Applicants must be 18 yrs of age or older
• Good attention to detail
• Be able to lift at least 50 lbs
• This is not a welding position

Qualifications/ Skills

Experience Requirements:

• Previous experience is not required however prospective applicants who have any construction experience such as, welding, metal fabrication, sign fabrication or any other construction trades would generally have fabrication experience that could be applied in sign fabrication.
