un Soffit and fascia repair - Carpenter/handyman needed - Schertz image 1 of 12 compensation: Please read entire listing and provide estimate Looking for an experienced carpenter or handyman to finish my soffit/facia repair on my house. (Just had knee surgery so I can't finish a job I started). PLEASE READ ENTIRE LISTING AND LOOK AT ALL PHOTOS PRIOR TO BIDDING. (Located between Schertz/New Braunfels near I-35 & 1103) Description: The prior owner of my home built a patio cover. He incorrectly tucked the drip edge between the facia and 2x8 faceplate. Over 15 years of water seepage cause the 2x8 faceplate to have wet rot. Consequently, I am having to tear off the perimeter of the patio faceplate, soffit, and fascia and replace it. See photos & diagram. About 50-60 total feet. Some demolition is already done, and one 10 feet section is already completely done Please provide estimate to: 1. Remove and replace drip edge along ridge 55-60 ft. 2. Remove about another 25-30 feet of faceplate and facia and replace 3. Remove about another 25-30 feet of soffit and replace. 4. Clean up and haul away debris. No painting needed. I have the soffit (vented cement fiberboard (24 that needs ripped down to 18) I have 2x8 replacement faceplate boards I have new drip edge I also have new fascia I also have a bundle of shingles in case any are torn removing the drip edge. I have 1 ladder and a cutoff saw you can use. You would need to provide your own equipment for ripping the 24 fascia down to 18. You provide screws and nails. And any other tools you think you might need. Please provide estimate and if you have experience and if you are insured. Thanks! post id: ... [ ]
