Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Scheduler with expertise in Primavera and Microsoft Project to support a dynamic Project Management Office (PMO). The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and evaluating complex project schedules and ensuring alignment with project goals and requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Utilize Primavera and Microsoft Project (or equivalent tools) to review and evaluate project schedules and Project Requirement Documents (PRDs).
Develop and maintain detailed construction project schedules.
Evaluate schedules submitted by contractors, agencies, and internal teams for compliance and feasibility.
Support PMO Project Managers in the creation and maintenance of project and program schedules.
Make necessary corrections and updates to maintain accurate project timelines.
Produce and maintain an integrated master schedule capturing all project interdependencies.
Identify and report schedule or cost variances in a Progress Variance Report.
Submit monthly updates of the integrated schedule in an approved electronic format.
Assist in managing project milestones and resource allocations throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor project progress, measure performance, and notify stakeholders of deviations.
Generate Monthly Performance Measure Reports detailing progress, cost, and forecasted performance.
Qualifications
Proven experience with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
Strong background in construction scheduling and project lifecycle management.
Ability to analyze and integrate multiple project schedules.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Experience preparing variance and performance reports.
Familiarity with government or large-scale infrastructure projects is a plus.
Preferred Skills
PMP or PMI-SP certification.
Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).
Knowledge of scheduling best practices and industry standards.
