Carpenter

You will be contributing to various projects and initiatives that require a high level of attention to detail. Your responsibilities will include producing, designing, crafting, and testing wood products. There will be plenty of opportunities for collaboration and teamwork in assigned work. Collaborate with team in design, production, and testing of wood and other products. Set up, operate, and tend table saw, band saw, miter saw, drill press, lathe, router, sander, planer, nail gun, etc. Cut, shape, and smooth wooden parts. Verify dimensions using caliper or ruler. Create scale models of products or buildings that are used in construction. Complete all stages of building process. Use automated machinery, such as computerized numerical control (CNC) machines. Shift: 9:30AM-6:00PM Skills sawmill, table saw, cnc router, wood cutting, Blueprint, cabinetry, Framing, Finish carpentry, Hand tool, Power tool Top Skills Details sawmill,table saw,cnc router,wood cutting,Blueprint,cabinetry Additional Skills & Qualifications 5 years of experience in woodworking and/or cabinet shop environment Attention to detail Flexibility to make changes in active projects Basic computer skills Experience or desire to develop skills in utilizing VCarve Pro 12 to run CNC router Experience Level Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
