Solstice Builders is a leader in Truly Custom residential construction in the Southport, Oak Island, Caswell Beach, Bald Head Island and St James communities of Brunswick County, NC. We are seeking an outgoing, organized, and highly detail-oriented construction professional to join our team as Logistics Coordinator.This role requires a self-motivated individual with a strong background in construction and construction estimation, project planning, scheduling, sales, and project management. The ideal candidate will be adept at working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple tasks with accuracy, superb communication, exceptional attention to detail, and a positive attitude. Job duties will include liaising with clients, vendors, sub-contractors, and Solstice team members throughout project planning, creation of project documents, cost estimation, job schedule creation, and creating and maintaining client folders and job documents. Experience working with Chief Architect, home and plan design are preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Projects, and SharePoint as well as general computer skills are required.This is an in-person position requiring work in our Southport, NC office and in the field at various locations around Southeastern Brunswick County. Candidates must be able to move easily without assistance on uneven, irregular, soft and uncleared properties. Must be able to kneel, sit, and stand for extended periods of time on a construction site and in an office setting. Must be able to work at a computer for prolonged periods, and must be able to speak, read, and write fluently in English. Must be able to occasionally lift heavy items and climb ladders as necessary. Candidates must also possess a valid drivers license, reliable transportation, and be able to travel independently to multiple locations throughout the day.Hours are generally Monday - Friday 8am to 4pm. However, some early mornings and evenings may be required from time to time.**Essential Responsibilities:**- Client liaison - Initiate client contacts, prepare and send job references, vendor lists, schedule and attend all client meetings- Visit potential and on-going work sites to meet clients and sub-contractors, take measurements, and perform other duties as necessary- Prepare, present, maintain and update project documents including Scopes of Work, Cost Estimates, and Job Schedules- Prepare cost estimates related to Change Orders as needed- Acquire estimates from vendors and sub-contractors for inclusion into final project Cost Estimates and Change Orders- Order preliminary surveys, Elevation Certificates, and engineering documents for use in project preparation and planning- Communicate documents, client information, job details, and other vital project information with Superintendents, Development Services Coordinator and other members of the management team- Create and maintain client project folders in Microsoft SharePoint- Home design and plan creation as needed**Essential Skills:**- Bachelors degree in construction management or related field- A minimum of 10 years experience in construction and construction management- Must be able to read and understand architectural and engineered plans, surveys and other construction related documents- Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Projects, SharePoint and basic computer operations- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation are required- Proficiency in Chief Architect preferred- Proficiency in home design and plan creation preferred- NC General Contractors License in good standing preferred**Salary:**$75,000 per year plus commission**Benefits:**- Employer match 401K plan- $25,000 Life Insurance Policy- A,D and D policy- 1 week paid vacation- Paid holidays- Paid Continuing Education and raining- Cell phone reimbursement- Mileage reimbursement
