Architect III

We are seeking to hire a licensed and experienced architect to lead our Salt Lake City office. This new position was created in 2025 as part of a strategic initiative.The ideal candidate will excel in leadership and mentoring; and will possess a strong portfolio of work from public and private clients. You will also have solid performance in project management, blending fiscal performance with predictable, on-time delivery of milestones and contracts. Though not a requirement to apply, preference will be given to Associate or Senior Associate candidates who have a demonstrated history of performance for clients; and experience in implementing and/or managing effective studio processes. Duties will include: Working on all phases of design services, from programming and conceptual design through construction administration. Direct and manage the design process, client experience, and firm processes. Interfacing with clients and potential clients Creative Director for all architectural design in our Salt Lake City office. Collaborating with our Director of Marketing and Principals to establish long-term, strategic objectives for our Salt Lake City office. Some local travel, with potential for occasional regional travel. Working closely with a Studio Manager to mentor a staff of 8-12 studio employees. Qualifications include: Licensed UT Architect, NCARB certification preferred Master of Architecture degree from accredited program 5-10 years of experience in architecture, construction management, or project management Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Proficient in all industry-standard applications This full-time position is located near downtown Salt Lake City. This position reports to the firm's Board of Directors; comprised of Architect Principals.
