Lead Estimator - Commercial Construction - Houston, TX

A nationally recognized commercial general contractor with $6B+ in annual revenue is seeking a Lead or Senior Estimator to support large-scale project pursuits ranging from $50M-$300M+ . Key Responsibilities Lead the preparation of detailed and conceptual estimates from early design through final pricing Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing using industry-standard tools Work closely with operations, design, and procurement teams to develop competitive proposals Build relationships with subcontractors and suppliers for accurate and current pricing Mentor junior estimators and help refine estimating processes and best practices Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience with a commercial general contractor in estimating or preconstruction Proven track record of estimating large-scale commercial projects ($50M+) Strong proficiency in modern preconstruction software, such as: WinEst, On-Screen Takeoff (OST), Assemble, PlanSwift, Bluebeam etc. Knowledge of CSI divisions, market trends, labor, and material costs Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Compensation & Benefits Base Salary: $100,000 - $135,000 Bonus Potential: 15% - 20% annually Comprehensive benefits package including: Medical, dental, vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off, holidays, and wellness support Strong internal culture with real advancement opportunities Ready to take the next step in your career?
