Field Operator III - Alarm Technician Location: Spring, TX Schedule: 14/14 Rotational Travel: Required Type: Contract (12 months with possibility for extension) Benefits: Healthcare, Vision, Dental, 401(k) About the Role We are seeking a dedicated Field Technician III - Alarm Technician to join our team. This position is critical in ensuring the reliable, safe, and efficient operation of oil and gas production equipment and facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in upstream production, process operations, and midstream facilities such as tank batteries and compressor stations. Key Responsibilities Operate equipment and wells in alignment with safety and operational procedures. Monitor wells and equipment to identify optimization and corrective actions. Serve as Equipment Care Technician and perform basic maintenance tasks. Participate in daily toolbox meetings and report safety concerns. Coordinate and monitor maintenance jobs (corrective, predictive, preventive). Accurately log operational events and abnormal conditions. Collect field samples and perform basic lab tests. Actively participate in emergency response activities. Provide thorough shift handover reports to maintain operational continuity. Support Wellwork operations, ensuring proper well diagnostics and equipment readiness. Skills & Qualifications Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience as a Field Technician in production or midstream operations. Strong communication skills (verbal and written). Commitment to safety, health, and environmental standards. Experience with upstream production from the wellhead. Familiarity with site operations in West Texas, New Mexico, Bakken (ND), or Oklahoma. Knowledge of pipeline operations and surface production equipment. Ability to identify production issues and recommend corrective measures. : Knowledge of safety and operations management tools and emergency procedures. Understanding of relevant regulations and commercial agreements. Experience supporting Wellwork operations and SCADA systems. Environmental & Physical Demands Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds. Frequent fieldwork in outdoor and industrial environments. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. May require full-face respirator use and annual medical clearance. Extended periods of walking, standing, and driving between field locations.
