General Laborer

General Laborer Job Description The general laborer will perform a variety of tasks in the yard and assist with preparations for painting projects. This role involves hands-on work and requires a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work area. This is a 2nd shift position working Monday-Friday from 3pm-11:30pm, working extended hours Monday-Thursday, to aim to finish early on Friday's. This opening pays $17-$18/hr. Responsibilities Perform general labor tasks in the yard. Prepare surfaces for painters by buffing and cleaning. Assist in production and assembly tasks as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area. Essential Skills Experience in general labor tasks. Proficiency in buffing and prepping surfaces. Ability to work in a production and assembly environment. Strong attention to detail in cleaning tasks. Work Environment The position is based in a shop environment, where you will work with various tools and equipment. It requires the ability to perform physical tasks and maintain a high level of safety and organization. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Daytona Beach, Florida. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
