Forklift Operator Job Description Join our team as a Forklift Operator in a dynamic manufacturing environment where small metal parts for vehicles are crafted using large stamping presses and small machine welding stations. This role involves production line operation, material handling, and ensuring efficient movement of products around the facility. Responsibilities Operate forklifts with precision and safety. Communicate and collaborate effectively with warehouse associates. Maintain a high level of attention to detail, initiative, and attendance. Essential Skills At least 1-2 years of experience on a sit-down forklift. Recent forklift operation experience. Forklift safety record and certification (preferred). Ability to handle materials and move pallets with multiple units. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, shipping, and receiving. Strong skills in assembly, order selecting, inventory management, and general labor. Capability to stand on feet for 10+ hours and lift 30+ lbs repeatedly. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, Texas. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.40 - $17.22/hr.
