Need 2 Full time, Temporary, Seasonal Ag Equipment Operators/ Farmworkers (livestock) to work in Borup, MN. From: 08/01/2025 12/15/2025 Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon.-Sat. 8 hrs./day, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Must apply by: 10/09/2025 OVERTIME: As required in Minnesota, all work performed in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) a year. JOB DUTIES: Operating tractors for spring tillage, rock picking, planting and spraying for corn, soybeans and wheat. Operating disk bine, rake, merger, tractor, trucks and choppers for hay harvest. Operating combine, chopper, grain cart, trucks and silage carts for fall harvest. Fall tillage work, scrapers and rock picking. Daily maintenance and repair of equipment. Assist with fence repair and maintenance. Drive farm trucks within the ag exemption. Per state regulations, employer is exempt from a commercial CDL requirement for farm trucking. No commercial or heavy truck driving is required. Assisting with moving cattle from spring calving pasture to summer pasture and back to the farm for the winter. Maintain cattle health. Crops: Corn, Soybeans, Alfalfa, and wheat. Employer will conduct post-hire random drug tests at no cost to the employee to enforce a drug free workplace policy. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Employer will conduct post-hire criminal background checks at no cost to the employee and will not employ anyone with a felony/theft criminal background as required by the workplace safety policy and company hiring practices as allowed by law. Any conviction that will prevent you from maintaining a valid driver's license will result in termination. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts.
