HVAC Service Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain medium to large-sized complex heating and cooling systems and associated control systems. Responsibilities Diagnose causes of breakdowns and test parts with appropriate instruments. Disassemble and assemble parts, making necessary repairs to equipment and associated components. Expertise in rooftop units, heat pumps, DX systems, and electrical control systems. Essential Skills 3-5 years of commercial HVAC experience. Proficiency in HVAC troubleshooting, particularly with rooftop units and mechanical systems. Field service experience in commercial construction and HVAC refrigeration. Additional Skills & Qualifications 10 years of experience in HVAC service. EPA certification is required. OSHA 10 certification is a plus. JM license is a bonus but not required. Why Work Here? You must be available to work flexible start and stop times, as well as more than 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week during and after normal business hours, including holidays and weekends if needed. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, Virginia. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $48.00/hr.
