Structural Engineer * Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized Contract Engineering and Technical Staffing firm specializing in civil and structural engineering. We are currently recruiting for a * Structural Engineer * with 5 years' experience with residential, commercial, or municipal projects. * This Structural Engineer will perform the following duties: * * A qualified Structural Engineer candidate will have 2-5 years of experience with commercial, residential, and industrial building projects with concrete/masonry, steel, and wood structures. * A qualified structural engineer candidate should have experience with both the design and analysis of structures with a strong background in AutoCAD and working knowledge of RISA. * Candidates for this Structural Engineer position must be able to work independently and be comfortable working at client locations. *Structural Engineer* *Duties for this Structural Engineer include:* * Will be traveling on site to the projects to insure they have an understanding of the current project and working with clients from start to finish. Travel is local to the Chicago land area. * Skills:* * Must have 5 years in Structural Engineering performing calculation and design. * Must have proficiency with AutoCAD 2010 and above. Currently using AutoCAD 2015. * Experience with RISA is highly . * Education: * * A Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Architecture is required. * Additional Information * * Location - Skokie / Evanston, IL, * Work location - in office * Duration - 6 months to direct position * Pay Range - $35.00 to $40.00 depending on experience * Start date - Immediately. * Candidates must be able to present a portfolio of past work and calculations.
