Youll have the chance to work on large capital projects across the US. These exciting and engaging large-scale building projects will utilize your Design-Build expertise to help ensure safe and efficient delivery. Youll work with the best engineers, construction managers, and contractors in the business. You will also gain experience working closely with technical subject matter experts, project control specialists, and some of the best digital delivery professionals in the industry. You will be responsible for overseeing and management of contractors; overseeing construction, commissioning, and closeout; managing and tracking project schedules; and ensuring final acceptance and turnover of projects to clients.
As Jacobs Design-Build Construction Manager, you will be responsible for all field operations. Generally oversee a General Contractor, in the execution of projects for which Jacobs is the Designer of Record and Jacobs holds the Prime Contract for Design and Construction. With the support of Quality and Safety professionals, you will work closely with the General Contractor to ensure that our projects are delivered safely on time and in accordance with quality standards.
During construction, your critical thinking will be applied to leverage the skills of our technical and construction specialists to resolve problems surfacing in the field. Your leadership during construction will include team supervision, facilitating construction coordination meetings, and driving the teams actions toward minimizing risks and resolving construction issues.
This role is a 100% on site role and may require extended travel to locations throughout the US, depending upon location of projects.

Here's what you'll need
Experience managing firm-fixed-price projects.
Basic Computer skills and fluency in use of cloud-based Project Controls platforms for Documents management, RFIs, Daily Reports, etc.
At least 10 years of experience in construction and administration of large projects.
Knowledge of project planning, pre-construction, delivery methods, and building systems
Working knowledge of CPM Scheduling software
Ability and willingness to travel to client sites up to 75 %.
Ideally, you'll also have:
CMAA Certification; and/or DBIA certification.
Experience delivering Design-Build project(s).
OSHA 30
Bachelors Degree, preferably in Construction Management or Engineering.
