Professional Parttime/ as needed Handyman

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a versatile professional, responsible for a wide range of repair, maintenance, and renovation tasks. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This role is customer facing, candidate must be comfortable communicating to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and drywall.
Inspect properties and identify maintenance issues, recommending appropriate solutions.
Assemble furniture, fixtures, and equipment as needed.
Conduct routine maintenance to ensure the safety and functionality of facilities.
Repair and replace defective or damaged components, such as doors, windows, flooring, and fixtures.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Ensure compliance with safety and building regulations.
Manage and maintain tools, supplies, and equipment in good working condition.
Collaborate with other team members or contractors for larger projects.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience as a Handyman or in a similar role.
Proficiency in a variety of maintenance and repair tasks.
Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Familiarity with hand and power tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift or move heavy objects.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training is a plus.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Flexible availability, including occasional weekends or evenings.
Candidate must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
Basic math skills.
