RESPONSIBILITIES

-Inspect all mechanical rooms and report results into log check

-Respond to tenants requests for maintenance services, including replacing air filters, repairing locks and troubleshooting smoke detectors

-General plumbing repairs such as toilets, faucets, and minor leaks

-Test performance of in-unit appliances, such as refrigerators, microwaves, stoves and ovens

-Repair and replace general hardware such as doors, doorknobs, locks, and broken tiles

-Cosmetic updates to apartments, entrances, and common areas such as painting, plaster, sanding, and wallpaper installation

QUALIFICATIONS

-Union position, hourly rate based on 3 years experience working in a rental building

-FACP certificate, a plus

-Basic carpentry and electrical skills

-Good communication and time management skills

-Standpipe sprinkler certificates

-Problem solver with attention to detail

SALARY

$25.49 to $31.89 per hr.
