Lead Pipe Layer / Laborer

Lead Pipe Layer/ Laborer BJ Excavating is seeking a highly motivated experienced lead pipe layer/laborer. BJ Excavating is a site development company performing all phases of site development. Candidates should have prior experience working for a site work construction company. Responsibilities: - Works with and assists the crew in digging ditches and trenches - Performs all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standers - Align and position pipes to prepare them for placement - Check slopes for conformance to requirements, using levels or lasers - Connect pipe pieces and seal joints, using cement or glue - Cover pipes with earth or other materials - Cut pipes to required lengths - Dig trenches to desired or required depths, by hand or using trenching tools - Grade and level trench bases, using tamping machines and hand tools - Install and repair sanitary and storm, water, sewer structures and pipe systems - Perform other tasks as required by management Candidates should possess the following: - Highly Motivated - Well Organized - Experience working for a site contractor in the past - Must have driver's and transportation Position offers excellent starting salary and full benefits package Please reply by e-mail and send resume or call ...
